William Weitzner, 95, of Warren and formerly Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on October 10, 2023.

Devoted father to Linda Waddington and stepdaughter, Leah Marchewka. Pop Pop to Tyler and Danielle Waddington and step-granddaughters, Nesya and Rena Haleva. He also leaves behind two nieces, Susan Prager, and Bonnie (Jett) Weinstein and four nephews, Mark (Sherri), Robert (Lisa), Andrew (Margo) Weitzner, and Ted Prager.

William is preceded in death by his wife, Miriam, stepdaughter, Dora (Dave) Haleva, sister, Doris (Norman) Prager, mother, Sylvia, father, David, and brothers, Harry (Lillian) and Jerry (Marcia) Weitzner.

He graduated from Upsala College in 1951 and later went on to do sales, owning his own men’s clothing store, Jonas Clothing Shop in Hillside. He proudly served our country in the Army. He loved to play tennis and watch sports.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on October 13, 2023, at Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 Vauxhall Road, Union (Vauxhall), New Jersey. Burial to be in Boynton Beach, Florida on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
